1. Contest Period: The "Dippity-do Sport 2011 Playoff Hockey Draw" Contest (the "Contest") starts at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on May 24th, 2011 and is scheduled to end at 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) on August 18th, 2011.
2. Eligibility: The Contest is open to all legal residents of Canada (excluding residents of the province of Quebec) except employees, representatives and agents (and those with whom such persons are domiciled) of Dippity-do (the "Sponsor"), its subsidiaries, affiliates and related companies as well as Home Office Associates of Sponsor's brand and their respective advertising and promotion agencies and suppliers (collectively, the "Contest Parties"). Void where prohibited. Participation constitutes each entrant's full and unconditional agreement to be legally bound by these Official Rules and Regulations (the "Rules") and Sponsor's and Administrator's decisions, which are final and binding (without right of appeal) in all matters related to the Contest. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
3. Method of Entry: During the Promotion Period, visit dippitydogel.com (the "Website"), complete the entry form, including your name, address, email address, phone number and date of birth, and enter the UPC code from any one of the five (5) Dippity-do sport pro-styling products described below:

There is a limit of one (1) entry per person/e-mail address per UPC code per day permitted during the Contest. Entries will automatically be rejected if the UPC code is not valid or more than one entry per person/email address is entered per day. If it is discovered that any person has attempted to obtain more than one (1) Entry per day in the Contest, then (in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor) he/she may be disqualified from the Contest and all of his/her Entries are subject to disqualification by the Sponsor. Your Entry will be rejected if (in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor): the Entry Form is not fully completed and submitted during the Contest Period. Use of any automated system to enter or otherwise participate in this Contest is prohibited and is grounds for disqualification by the Sponsor. The Releasees (defined below) are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, delayed, incomplete or incompatible Entries.
All Entries are subject to verification. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to the Sponsor) to enter or otherwise participate in this Contest. Failure to provide such proof in a timely manner may result in disqualification.
No purchase necessary method of entry:
To obtain one (1) entry without making a purchase, handwrite a 30-50 word or more unique and original essay on what you love most about Playoff Hockey. Mail the original copy of the essay to: "Dippity-do Sport 2011 Playoff Hockey Draw", 150 Ferrand Drive, Suite 804, Toronto, Ontario M3C 3E5. All mail-in no purchase necessary requests must be postmarked on or before May 24th, 2011 and must be received no later than June 20th, 2011. Sponsor will generate you an entry per unique and original handwritten essay per envelope with sufficient postage. All requests must include a self-addressed pre-paid envelope with sufficient return postage. Sponsor takes no responsibility for any lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed mail-in no purchase necessary requests. Limit of one (1) essay per person/per day accepted.
4. Submission Requirements:
BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, YOU AGREE THAT THE ENTRY (AND EACH INDIVIDUAL COMPONENT THEREOF) COMPLIES WITH ALL CONDITIONS STATED IN THESE RULES. THE RELEASEES (DEFINED BELOW) WILL BEAR NO LEGAL LIABILITY REGARDING THE USE OF YOUR ENTRY (OR ANY COMPONENT THEREOF) BY THE CONTEST PARTIES. THE RELEASEES (DEFINED BELOW) SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS BY YOU IN THE EVENT IT IS SUBSEQUENTLY DISCOVERED THAT YOU HAVE DEPARTED FROM OR NOT FULLY COMPLIED WITH ANY OF THESE RULES.5. Prizes:
a) ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: The Grand Prize has an approximate retail value ("ARV") of $600 CDN. The Grand Prize consists of: two hand-signed NHLPA pro jerseys, two hand-signed player photos and two hand-signed pucks. Secondary Prize winners are eligible to win the Grand Prize.
No cash substitutions for the difference in value, if any.
No cash equivalent will be provided. The Grand Prize is non-transferable and no substitution will be made unless Sponsor, in its sole discretion, determines otherwise. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize for one of equal or greater value should it become unavailable for any reason. If any activity relating to any Prize is cancelled or postponed for any reason, the balance of that Prize will be awarded in full satisfaction of the Prize award. All Grand Prize and Secondary Prize details are at Sponsor's sole discretion.
b) FIFTY (50) SECONDARY PRIZES: There are fifty (50) secondary prizes available to be won, issued one a day, starting June 1st, 2011, each consisting of a "The Rocket" DVD (ARV: $18 CDN) or a "The Rocket" Blu Ray ($22 CDN). The 30DVDs will be awarded first and then, the 17 Blu Rays.
Odds of winning a Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the applicable contest period.
6. Random Prize Draw and Winner Selection: For the Secondary Prizes, fifty (50) impartial computer-generated random draws will be made daily by the Administrator, starting with June 1st, 2011, "from among all eligible entries received between May 24st at 12:01 am (ET) and July 20th at 11:59 pm (ET). For the Grand Prize, an impartial computer-generated random draw will be made on August, 18th, 2011, at or around 12:00 p.m. ET from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. Limit of one (1) Secondary Prize per person to be won.
7. Winner Requirements: Each potential winner will be required to correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical, electronic or otherwise, and sign and return a declaration of compliance and all required release forms (which must be received by the Administrator within five (5) business days of the date the notice or attempted notice of the potential win is sent, in order to be determined a winner and claim a Prize. If a potential Prize winner is disqualified for any reason, including for failure to return the declaration of compliance and any required release forms in the time provided or failure to correctly answer the skill-testing question, an alternate winner will be selected, who will be subject to disqualification in the same manner. Only three (3) alternate winners will be determined for each Prize, after which the Prize may remain un-awarded. Acceptance of any Prize shall constitute and signify winner's agreement and consent that Sponsor and its designees may use the winner's name, city, province/territory, likeness, and/or prize information in connection with the Contest for promotional, advertising or other purposes, worldwide, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, including the Internet, without limitation and without further payment, notification, permission or other consideration, except where prohibited by law. Sponsor shall not incur any liability whatsoever to the extent Sponsor chooses to refrain from any exploitation of its rights hereunder. Each Prize winner will indemnify Sponsor, Released Parties (as hereinafter defined) and any licensee of Sponsor against all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable counsel fees and legal expenses) arising out of any breach of these terms.
8. ALL POTENTIAL WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE CONTEST. AN ENTRANT IS NOT A WINNER OF ANY PRIZE, EVEN IF THE CONTEST SHOULD SO INDICATE, UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT'S ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE. SPONSOR WILL NOT ACCEPT SCREEN SHOTS OR OTHER EVIDENCE OF WINNING IN LIEU OF ITS VALIDATION PROCESS. ANY ENTRY THAT OCCURS AFTER THE SYSTEM HAS FAILED FOR ANY REASON IS DEEMED A DEFECTIVE ENTRY AND IS VOID AND WILL NOT BE HONOURED.
9. Release: By participating in this Contest, and/or receipt of any Prize, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, the Administrator, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising/promotion agencies, the NHLPA and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent and affiliate companies and each such company's officers, directors, members, employees and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, defamation, slander, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Contest, the awarding of any Prize, the receipt, use or misuse of any Prize, including any travel related thereto, or the use of personal information. The Released Parties make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any Prize and disclaim any implied warranty. The winner must sign a declaration and release form, and such other supporting documentation that the Sponsor may request, to give effect to such release prior to the receipt of any Prize.
10. General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Contest, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failure or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, determine the Contest winner from among eligible entries received prior to such cancellation. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process, or the operation of the Contest including without limitation, the use of any computer software, mechanical or other device to increase the number of entries submitted, or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
11. Limitations of Liability: All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of the Website during the Promotion Period, typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Contest, including but not limited to errors in advertising, the Official Rules, the selection and announcement of winners, or the distribution of any Prize, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the Contest. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way. Entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Administrator, which are final and binding.
12. These Official Rules are subject to change without notice in order to comply with any applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws or the policy of any other entity having jurisdiction over the Sponsor.
13. Governing Law: Entrant agrees that under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of Ontario, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the Province of Ontario or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Province of Ontario.
14. Entrant's Personal Information: By entering this Contest, each entrant expressly consents to the Sponsor, Administrator, their agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his/her entry only for the purpose of administering the Contest and in accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Policy unless the entrant otherwise agrees.
